It's been so long. He's grown so much.

I know it has been a long time and I have been a lazy blogger. Things have been busy around here. We had such a great Halloween. Carter was such a cute little pumpkin (thanks Emily for letting us borrow the costume). I love Halloween and fall time in general. It was fun to watch all the leaves change colors. I am not to excited for the snow however. Carter is growing up so much. He changes everyday. He will be five months old on the 17th! He has more tricks now. He loves to blow bubbles with his lips. Roll over both directions. He is such a people watcher. He loves playing with his toys. I put Carter in the jumper one day and he just kind of swung around in it. Then the next time I put him in it and he totally remembered how it worked and jumped up and down. He loves it now. I can't believe how fast he got the hang of it. We are just busy working and enjoying our family time when we have some. Enjoy the pictures. My disclaimer for the video of Carter doing his business. I thought it definitely is one of those things that the parents only think is funny. But Jamie said no it is hilarious you need to put it on. So sorry if you think it is a bit strange. Not my fault.

Such a happy kid!

My boys!

Ok this is pretty funny. Carter learned how to roll over awhile back. I would go into check on him during his nap time and this is what I would find. He always got stuck on his tummy and didn't know how to get back. He just recently learned how to roll from his stomach to his back.

Halloween party and Emily's (thanks em that was fun)

One evening Carter was being fussy and I wanted to watch my show "The Office". So, Jamie set him on the ottoman in front of the TV and he was quiet and watched the show with me.

How can you not smile. Look at that face.

3 Months Old

So we can't believe Carter is already 3 months old. He is so much fun to be around. Here are some pictures Jamie and I took of Carter at 3 months old. Some of Carters likes and dislikes. Likes: baths, getting his diaper changed, going on walks, sitting in his swing, playing with his mom and dad, eating, giggling, kicking his legs, sleeping at night, playing with his toys, staring at the lights on his mobile, playing with his cousins, sucking on his fist. Dislikes: tummy time, getting burped, and his car seat. We love our little man and can't believe he is already 3 months old. Enjoy the pictures.

Carter in action

Here are so random pictures of Carter. He is smiling so much now and doing such a good job sleeping at night which makes Jamie and I thrilled.

Girls! Girls! Girls!

Is it just me or is everyone I know having a baby girl. Well it's the same way in my family. Carter is so lucky he has three cousins his age and guess what. They are all girls! I keep telling Carter he needs to teach them how to play with trucks and in the dirt versus them teach him how to play with dolls. Here is some pics of him and is cousins.
Carter was born in June, in the middle is Olivia born in August, and far right Jenna born in February. Bellow is all three of them. I can't believe Carter used to be the same size as Olivia look how much he has changed in just 10 weeks.

Jamie's sister Amber had a baby in August. So there it is his three cute girl cousins. These girls better not gain up against him. Carter Just had his two month appointment which was really sad because he hated his shots. He did ok during them but about four hours after he was so upset. Nothing a little infant tylenol couldn't fix though. Why didn't anyone tell me to give him tylenol before his appointment. So for his two month check up Carter is 24 inches tall (he grew four inches so FAST!) which is the 80% for his height. He weighs 12 pounds 15.5 ounces 70% for weight, and his head is in the 50%.

Summer Fun

So I finally did it I created a family blog. I have been meaning to start a blog for a long time but never got around to it until now. Hopefully this will give us a better chance to stay connected with friends and family. So Jamie and I have had a really fun and busy summer. The best part of the summer was Carter coming into our lives. He was born June 17th. Having a baby in the summer was the best because that meant I actually had a summer. I didn't have to go to work. It has been a really fun summer having Carter in our lives. We have had so much fun just watching him grow right in front of our eyes. Here our some pictures of our summer fun. They aren't in order I don't know how to move them around. Can anyone help me with that?

Here is a picture of Carter at two weeks old. I can't believe how fast he is growing.

Here is Carter on his playtime mat. He is the funniest kid he is fine playing on his back. Or doing tummy time if he is laying on your belly but just laying him down on his belly he hates tummy time. Should I be worried? So when Carter was only four weeks old we were doing tummy time and he rolled from is tummy to his back. No joke I was glad Jamie was with me or else he would never believe me. I was thinking to myself oh my goodness how did you do that. So I put him on his tummy again and he did it again and again. Three times in a row. I wish I would have got it on video because he hasn't done it since. A fluke yes I know but kind of crazy at the same time. What can I say he is so advanced.
Here is Carter at his First baseball game with his cousin Jake. Carter did so good.
So good that he wore himself right out.
Carter posing in front of his name in the nursery.
The baby bjorn is great. Carter does really well in it. Here we are ready to go to the pool with the family.

So my family did a family trip up to Bear Lake at the end of July. Here is me trying to attempt to do my pre pregnancy boat sports at five weeks post partum. Yes I would like to say I was able to wake surf. No, I wouldn't do it again so soon after having a baby. I was hurting big time after.

Here is a picture of Carter at 8 weeks. I can't believe how fast he is growing.
It is so much fun to see Carter giggle and smile. Another picture at 8 weeks.
Jamie's parents were able to come visit us twice this summer! Once right after Carter was born and the second time for his baby blessing. We had so much fun hanging out with them. Here is a picture of the gang at the concert in the park.

Family pic at Bear Lake. Carter is 5 weeks old here.
Jamie rocked this year on the wake surf and wake board.
We loved going outside and enjoying the weather. Here is a pic of my boys at one of our picnics.

These two pictures were taken after Carters baby blessing. He is just about 7 weeks in this picture.
